I am very pleased to bring you the new SSH that is very high quality and built to last. The idea came to me when I realized after buying my own Slingshot that there was not much storage room to take my luggage on a trip. I have looked at some of the hitches that others are making and saw the workmanship of a couple was of poor quality.

With this being said, I took my idea to a fabricator, and we worked together to develop this New SlingShot Hitch. The SSH has a high strength rating; we (recommend) only pulling a lightweight motorcycle trailer or cargo trailer.

Your true trailer tongue weight should not exceed 20 lb with a cargo weight of up to 400 lb, with a light-duty MC trailer weighing under 200 lb.

Although the SSH can handle more weight in towing, It is NOT recommended to exceed 638 pounds, including cargo and trailer weight together. A friendly reminder for your safety, the Slingshot is very lightweight at "1,750 lb," so keep this in mind when towing for your stopping power. In other words, DO NOT exceed the recommended maximum weight of 638 lb.
